My name is Niamh Tracey Smith and I’m an NLP certified Executive Life Coach. I have spent the last number of years running my own business, running half marathons, writing books, working on an album, training as a Yoga Teacher and most important of all, raising my 2 daughters.
I now devote my time specifically to mentoring clients in achieving their own chosen goals; whether personal or professional, my role is quite simply to ensure you get ‘across the finish line’.
A simple coaching session begins with a ‘life balance’ wheel assessment, where we ascertain where you may be feeling unfulfilled and not meeting your full potential, if you have a goal in mind, even better!
NLP coaching encourages clients to become ‘no limits thinkers’ . Together we will sit and take an inventory of how life is flowing for you and where we find you might have obstacles we put plans and clear markers in place to overcome whatever is causing a setback.
My expertise and training also lies exclusively in the field of stress and time management. Stress is a vital tool in todays busy world to help us achieve goals and contend with day to day living. However, stress can sometimes also wreak havoc on our lives and we can succumb to it’s many guises unnoticed.
We can become victims of ‘stress thinking’ where our thoughts are counter productive and out of alignment to whatever it is we are trying to achieve.
We can all be ‘guilty’ of stress thinking, thoughts like
‘I’m not good enough’, ‘I don’t deserve this’, ‘I just don’t have the time’, ‘I can never….’etc.
Sometimes it’s just the not knowing that this is often how stress can present itself and it’s simply a case of finding the balance between just the right amount of stress(to get things done!) and knowing when we’re under too much stress.
Stress can also surprisingly surface when we don’t have enough to occupy our time, or we have an unanticipated life change for example early retirement or recent ‘empty nest syndrome’, redundancy or even a relationship breakdown. Setting forward thinking goals can often be just the remedy to steer us through these sometimes unanticipated events.
